Anti-aging experts to convene physical therapy conference in Bangkok

BANGKOK, Jan 6 – Asia’s leading anti-aging experts have been invited to convene the 2nd International Physical Therapy Conference (IPTC) and the 2nd Physical Therapy Mahidol University Research Symposium (PTMURS) to be held mid-2014 by Mahidol University's Faculty of Physical Therapy.

Themed "Successful aging from basic to advanced knowledge”, the conference aims at emphasising knowledge sharing and research collaboration among physical therapists and researchers from various institutions in Asia.

Participants will have the opportunity to share professional knowledge, getting connected professionally and socially, interacting and communicating with physical therapy clinicians, educators, researchers and many more from interdisciplinary fields.

The organising committee claims they have made serious efforts to provide wide spectrum of interesting topics from the field of biomechanics, physiology and psychology that relates to aging and the elderly. Additionally, various workshops toward “successful aging” will be organised, ranging from fundamental assessment to evaluating and training with high-technology equipment.

The conference will be held from July 30 through August 1, with registration period closing April 15.  (MCOT online news)
